I am going to eventually have to tweak it a little to fit my overall desired look (just as I did with MORE). I did install your newest Collapsed Topics and it seems to work fine. I am not interested in creating a new theme, just modifying Boost in its current state. Gareth, I am going to have to study the information you pointed me to. I do see that there appears to be more background areas that I can experiment with. I got the background to look similar to what I now have. Richard, yes, I successfully added a background image, no size change, and repeated it. The footer in Boost seems quite different, so I will have to experiment a little. Yep, this "variables" approach is really interesting, and pointing me to the "_variables.scss" file is extremely helpful. Then I tried adding a variable to the Raw Initial SCSS box using variables, and I got this to work.
#BOOSTNOTE FIREFOX HOW TO#
Mary, I now see how to add css to the second box. If not, please move this to the correct forum. I hope that I posted this in the right area. How do I do this with Boost? Are we still able to explore the background CSS with Firefox, and then easily experiment making changes?
How do I do this with Boost?Ģ) How do I add a custom Footnote? There was a textbox to do this with MORE.ģ) In MORE I could add custom CSS, such as the code shown below. I would learn a lot if someone could answer these.ġ) In MORE, I can easily add a background by going to the theme and adding a background image. I will begin with what I think are three simple questions. I don't want to create themes, I just want to customize Boost a little, like I have done with MORE. Yep, I see a lot of "power" and a lot of "changes", but I must begin somewhere. However, I need help understanding how to customize Boost. I finally installed a recent version of Moodle 3.2 dev the other day so that I can begin learning about the Boost theme.
